AI Drupal Developer

We are seeking a highly capable AI-first Drupal Developer with deep AI integration and CLI tooling experience—a professional who considers LLMs and agentic workflows a core part of modern software development, not an optional enhancement. This role requires fluency in Drupal 10, headless CMS architecture, and the use of AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Drupal 10 custom modules and content entities using automated workflows powered by LLMs (e.g., Claude Code, Roo Tools, Codec, Cursor).
   
• Scaffold and maintain high-performance headless Drupal architecture integrated with a React frontend. Must have mastery over React to be able to QA the code generated by AI driven workflow tools.
   
• Expose structured content via JSON:API with custom aliasing using JSON:API Extras and Views integration.
   
• Leverage tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or RooCode to accelerate code delivery, test coverage, and refactoring.
   
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Github actions that incorporate automated code review, regression testing, and AI-assisted deployment validation.
   
• Participate in schema design for data-driven platforms involving ATS, CRM, LMS, Marketing Automation, and CMS integrations.
   
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product management, and AI automation engineers.
   
• Ensure code adheres to security best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and Drupal’s coding conventions.
   
• Integrate AI-generated content and workflows into editorial pipelines within Drupal and adjacent systems.
   

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Drupal 9/10, including custom entity types, form APIs, and service architecture.
   
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for:
   
  • Using AI CLI and or AIebabled IDE 
  • Code scaffolding (e.g., entities, controllers, plugins)
     
  • Test generation (unit and functional)
     
  • Documentation generation
     
  • Workflow automation (CLI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
     
• Proficiency with React, Tailwind CSS, and Chakra UI for decoupled frontend integration.
   
• Familiarity with monorepo architectures, structured API layer design, and test-driven development.
   
• Strong understanding of JSON:API, GraphQL, RESTful architecture, and secure data handling practices.
   
• Comfortable using CLI tools and headless scaffolding workflows with OpenAI CLI, LangChain, Claude Code, or Augment.
   
• Working knowledge of modern DevOps and infrastructure environments, ideally DigitalOcean, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
   
• Experience building or contributing to AI-integrated developer tools or platforms.
   
• Familiarity with automated scaffolding pipelines and Claude/OpenAI agent workflows.
   
• Strong command of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
   
• Experience working with microservices, decoupled UIs, and enterprise-grade content/data architectures.
   
• Familiarity with Drupal performance optimization, including caching strategies, service container usage, and frontend performance techniques.
