Senior Drupal Developer

Must be able to obtain Secret clearance, onsite in central VA

• Design, code, and maintain high-performance Drupal websites.
• Support ongoing development for existing projects/sites.
• Custom module development.
• Utilize web services for data transactions.
• Design and execute accessibility, performance, load, and stress testing.
• Work closely with project management for timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing project requirements and developing solutions
• Participation in all phases of software engineering including; requirements, design, coding and testing
• Designing reusable components, frameworks and libraries
• Works closely with other developers, designers and business users to understand business and technical requirements

Requirements/Skills

• Minimum 5 years of Drupal programming experience (samples of applications that you have worked on are required)
• Experience with key contrib modules, e.g. CTools, Views, Rules, etc.
• Understanding the theme layer and how to create custom themes
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles
• Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML5.
