One of Esteemed's partners is seeking a fractional sales leader, who isn't afraid to pick up a phone and be the spark that lights the fire! The ideal candidate is an experienced sales director and top producer, who understand how to assess business needs and be truly consultative in the SaaS business. You would be a producer at the outset, and grow a team around/underneath you, and if you'd like to continue into a permanent role, that option is very much there!
Pay is dependent on experience.
The Fractional Sales Leader Executive is a strategic leader who drives the sales strategy and execution for growing SaaS companies. Bringing senior-level experience, this role provides guidance and leadership on a part-time basis, ensuring that the sales organization scales effectively and achieves its revenue goals.
- Sales Strategy Development: Define, develop, and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Team Leadership Development: Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to the sales team, optimizing performance and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are properly identified, pursued, and closed.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key sales metrics, using them to drive improvements and adapt strategies in a dynamic market.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales tactics and strategy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and create a seamless customer journey.
- Sales Process Optimization: Review and refine the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices and tools where necessary.
- Revenue Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts to executive leadership, enabling informed business decisions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring long-term loyalty and growth.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that can enhance sales opportunities or distribution channels.
Required Qualifications Skills:
- Proven experience in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in SaaS businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to scale sales teams and achieve growth targets.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Proficient understanding of SaaS metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales software.
As a Fractional Sales Leader, you'll provide senior leadership on a part-time or project basis. This allows the company to benefit from experienced sales leadership without the full-time commitment, making it a mutually beneficial arrangement. Your commitment level and hours will be defined based on the needs of the business and your availability.
